The role of private equity in business development

Meduspace’s experience
Meduspace was born precisely from this meeting between entrepreneurial vision and structured financial support. The consolidation process launched with Koinos Capital SGR led to the creation of a national hub for medical-scientific education, today composed of Dynamicom Education, Formedica, Meeting Planner, LT3, and CP Cloud — complementary entities, each with its own identity and specialization, united by a shared vision.
The model we chose is not that of a traditional acquisition, in which the acquiring party absorbs and standardizes. It is a model of industrial aggregation: the people who built these companies continue to lead them, bringing with them the skills and relationships that determined their success.
Engaging with the market
We brought this experience to a meeting organized on May 27 by EY in collaboration with Koinos Capital in Bari: an opportunity for dialogue among entrepreneurs, advisors, and investors on the role of private equity as a concrete lever for development for local businesses.
Sharing Meduspace’s journey in that setting was an act of transparency even before being one of communication. We believe that the model we are building — bringing together centers of excellence, preserving identity, creating industrial value in a fragmented market — can serve as a useful reference point for those facing similar choices.
